Sleepy Dog Saloon & Brewery
In 2009, we were commissioned to create a contemporary/industrial theme for an outstanding craft brewer (Rob Sizemore) and his new brewery, Sleepy Dog Brewing. To keep a unique approach to the furniture and the industrial theme, we hit the salvage yard in search for some discarded industrial pieces just waiting to be re-born as furniture. All the furniture was to be made of steel and copper. We used an etching process to pit and distress over 1000 pounds of steel to give it an aged look. This was a challenging and fun project that we were proud to be a part of.
If you are in the Phoenix area, please stop by the brewery for an outstanding beer and a wonderful atmosphere.

Here
are some pictures of the Brewery:
Coffee Table:
This coffee table was made from a pulley drive wheel. Guessing from the style of the casting, i would say it was in use pre-WWII. We forged and etched some legs and made it into an exquisite coffee table. This table weighs approx. 250#.
Sofa's:
These matching sofa's are all etched steel and weight approx 350#'s a piece.

Bar Top:
The bar started as smooth, shiny steel that was etched and distressed. Copper rivets separate each four foot panel.
Dining Tables:
Like the coffee tables, these larger dining tables were made from pulley drive wheels that were salvaged from a very large washing machine. They are 50" in diameter and several hundreds of pounds each.
