A
Flypress is a mechanical press operated by hand. When the
handle is pulled, the inertia of the wheel sends great pressure
downward allowing for steel to be worked cold. This, in
addition to the ease of making tools for this press, translates
into quicker production and cheaper material costs. (propane
for our gas forges) This enables us to keep costs lower
for you, and gets your commission into your hands quicker.
The
bowl in this demo would take much longer if done hot, with
less efficiency. This is simply a demo of the ease and power
of a flypress.
